O acesso a praia é feito por meio de ruelas estreitas que passam por casas dos moradores locais. Paúba lembra um pequena vila de pescadores, porém com uma boa infra-estrutura de bares, restaurantes, mercado e diversos quiosques que atendem aos visitantes na praia. A praia possui uma extensão relativamente pequena, porém com uma larga faixa de areia boa para prática de: futebol, vôlei de praia, pesca, caminhada, entre outros. Suas águas são na maioria das vezes calmas, porém quando se tornam mais agitadas ficam perfeitas para prática do surf.
The beach access is done through the narrow lanes that pass through the homes of local residents. Paúba resembles a small fishing village, but with a good infrastructure of bars, restaurants, a market and several kiosks that cater to visitors on the beach. The beach has a relatively small extent, but with a wide strip of sand for good practice: football, beach volleyball, fishing, hiking, among others. Its waters are mostly calm but when they become more agitated are perfect for surfing.
