Uma de suas características marcantes é o encontro do rio Una com o mar, formando uma pequena península de areia muito utilizada por seus freqüentadores para o banho de mar. Neste local podemos encontrar muitas marinas, iates clubes e garagens náuticas, de onde partem a maiorias dos passeios de lancha pelas ilhas da região. Suas águas são cristalinas, com ondas mais na parte sul da praia, suas areias são claras e fofas. Seu acesso é feito através de estreitas passagens entre as casas de veraneio que ali existem. Possui uma boa estrutura de hotéis, pousadas, mercados, bares, restaurantes e também um pequeno apoio de barracas que atendem ao longa da praia.
