ABOUT US
We are a Brazilian company formed by a team of professionals with more than 20 years' experience in the international food trade. PKS Brasil was founded in 2003 by Mr. Paulo Kayser de Souza in partnership with his son Mr. Cassio Roger de Souza.
AREA OF OPERATION
During this period, we have primarily been operating in the African continent, in almost every country in the west coast of Africa, bounded by the Atlantic Ocean. We operate in lower volume in East Africa, surrounded by the Indian Ocean. We have clients and trade relations in the Middle East in some countries of the region. We also operate in some destinations in the Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific Islands. We have been in an ongoing evolution, having increased our area of coverage and bringing in new customers from around the world.
FOOD PRODUCTION AND EXPORT
Our company's main business activity is food production and export. By nature, Brazil has a great potential for food production. The vast territory, favourable climate, abundant availability of waters, much favour the production of various types of food within great part of the Brazilian territory. In recent decades, there has been a great technological advance in the food industry and farming production in Brazil. Today, we can safely say that Brazil is a world reference as regards quality and technology in the production of various types of food.

In order to provide greater quantity and variety of products for our customers, we work in developing partnerships with industries and factories in Brazil and abroad. This work enables us to find suppliers with the best competitive advantages, providing competitive prices with quality products that our customers look for in each commercial operation.
During this period in which we have been operating in the international food market, we have built an extensive network of business relationships. We have partnerships with several types of professionals, including lawyers, investment banks, farmers, industries, charity companies and trading companies.
This chain of relationships enables us to offer a series of products and company solutions linked to international trade.
IMPORTANCE OF FOOD TRADE
The international food trade is of great importance in order to meet the nutritional needs of the population, in particular poor countries, where the local food industry is poorly developed. Adverse weather conditions in some countries, alongside the lack of land space for food production in other countries, provide a constant increase in the international food trade. Worldwide population growth, in particular in underdeveloped countries, further underlines the importance and increase of the international food trade.
IMPORTANCE OF FOOD IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY
The development potential of a Country or society is directly linked to the nutritional conditions of that same society. The ability of a country or society to provide food to its population through trade and distribution, has a direct impact on the development potential of that same society. Therefore, we can say that the provisions of food through trade and distribution is the first step towards enhancing the growth and construction of a society.
